HOw long does cosmetic tattoo last?

Does it hurt?
Although topical anaesthetics can used to numb the treatment area some clients may experience slight discomfort and a stinging sensation in more sensitive areas such as lips.
What should I expect after the treatment?
With the latest technology there is very little swelling or bleeding. The colour will appear quite dark at first and soften within 7 – 10 days. Eventually it will look as if you applied a pencil a little softer and more muted. You can lose approximately 20-40% of complete colour during the healing process within 4-14 days, excepting lip colour which can fade by up to 80% during healing. With these types of procedures the downtime is minimal and most women return to work immediately. Some mature age clients may experience very sore and rough lips for up to 7 days.
Will I be allergic to the treatment?
Allergic reactions are very rare. Cosmetic Tattoo and beauty offer a skin patch test upon request. HOw may session are required?
Two treatments are usually needed at least 6 weeks apart. In some cases one treatment is suffice. It is recommended that you do a colour boost every 1 – 2 years to keep your enhancement looking fresh.
IS THERE a risk of infection?
All treatments are performed in hygienic conditions. The finest quality equipment is used and needles are individually packed in sterile blister packs, disposed of in a ‘sharps’ container. Each client has a new needle, new machine attachment and new product. There is no chance of cross infection.
IS ther anything else i should know?
Remember when talking about brows, no two sides of the face are the same. Perfection is our goal, but, note that nothing is PERFECT. We do not use the “P” word when doing Permanent Makeup. Sisters, NOT twins is used universally in this field.Permanent makeup will not appear as bold on darker skin tones.If you have oily skin, your results WILL appear softer (eyebrows can look solid) in appearance and may require additional procedures.
What is your cancellation policy?
A deposit of $50 is required to confirm all appointments. This amount will be deducted from the treatment price on the day of the procedure.Cosmetic Tattoo & Beauty has a ‘no refund’ policy if you simply change your mind. Refunds will be provided where required under the Australian Consumer Law.If you choose to reschedule a minimum of 48 hours’ notice is required. Failure to give sufficient notice will incur a $50 fee, which will be deducted from the initial deposit and any future appointments will require a further $50 deposit.If you cancel or do NOT show for a scheduled appointment your deposit becomes non-refundable.

AM I a suitable candidate?
Collagen Induction Therapy is suitable for all skin types, and ideal candidates are those who wish to improve skin laxity, smooth lines and wrinkles, slow the onset of the ageing process or improve the appearance of scarring from acne, also helps to strengthen weakened capillary walls that cause diffused redness (rosacea). You must wait for six months if you have been using any of the Accutane family.r
Does it hurt?
Before a medical skin needling treatment, a topical anaesthetic can be applied to minimise any discomfort, you can discuss this with your therapist prior to your treatment
What should I expect during treatment?
Using the device follow a pattern of 3 passes over the skin to create evenly spaced puncture wounds. The length of the needles on the pen will vary depending on how deep into the skin the needles need to penetrate – generally, the deeper the penetration, the more dramatic results you will see. Treatment can take anywhere between 10-60 minutes, depending on the area you are having treated.
is there any downtime?
After Collagen Induction Therapy treatment, the client’s skin will usually be slightly pink and they may experience some mild bleeding and bruising depending on the length of the needle used during the treatment. The downtime with this treatment is very quick and recovery is between 24-72 hours.
HOw may session are required?
A series of 2-5 treatments is usually recommended to achieve maximum results and as the results rely on kick-starting the body’s own collagen production, it can take 4-8 weeks before you start to fully see the benefits. It is also often advised to use cosmeceutical grade skincare at home to enhance results.
what are teh risks and complication associated with collagen induction therapy?
Risks and complications associated with this treatment are minimal but can include:
Scab formation. Slight discoloration post-treatment. Flaking or dryness of the skin. The appearance of white spots, known as milia. The appearance of dark patches on the skin, known as hyper-pigmentation. An outbreak of cold sores in previous suffers. Any complications with this treatment are rare and can be easily resolved in most cases. Any side effects of Collagen Induction Therapy should subside within a week or so.
